Board games can play an important role in a child’s cognitive development and growth.    Problem solving, critical thinking and spatial reasoning, can all be developed by regular board game play.   The benefits of regular organized board game play can also bring kids together in a positive manner; encouraging respect, fair play and fostering positive social interactions.  K-max's instructor Gareth, will teach your child 4 of the most popular board games in modern board gaming.  Our hope is that your child will develop important cognitive skills, learn a fun game, and then bring that knowledge home to share with the whole family.  Board gaming can also promote quality family time that doesn't involve or revolve around "screens".
